Prince's Story

I carefully read Prince's application, where one powerful sentence caught my attention: “I would love to share my story for strength to people that may need encouragement to keep going, to fight for your emotional and physical freedom!” This statement alone convinced me that she needed to be part of our project.

When I first met Prince, I was immediately struck by her beautiful, gentle spirit. She has endured so much suffering a stroke, surviving a toxic relationship, and navigating the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, which forced her and her two magnificent boys to relocate from Puerto Rico to Florida. On top of these challenges, she faced a divorce and had to rebuild her life from scratch. Prince exemplifies the strength of a warrior; she is truly a She Warrior. Her journey is not just a story of survival but a beacon of hope for others. By sharing her experiences, she inspires countless individuals to rise and fight for their own emotional and physical freedom!

Bird: Hummingbird 

I chose this bird because Prince’s gentle spirit and serene presence resonate deeply, embodying the essence of a hummingbird and captivating the heart fully. Each delicate flutter of its wings brings joy that swells when they visit a window. I can only imagine the unmatched joy of her children, knowing she is with them to celebrate each day. Only a hummingbird can illustrate this profound understanding.
